Love, Chloé is a powdery fragrance that envelopes a woman in ‘the private sphere of applying make-up’. The Chloé woman is deeply in love, and she radiates femininity with a natural grace that turns heads and attracts smiles. Like the last ‘Chloé’ , Love, Chloé has a powdery signature. But while the original scent was built around rose, this one conveys more of a balmy, rice-powder effect. Like for Chloé, the perfume’s bottle has an almost vintage elegance. Incarnated by Raquel Zimmermann, Love, Chloé stands for the pairing of an elegant fragrance with a woman’s natural beauty. The opening features fresh notes of orange blossom enhanced with pink pepper. In the heart, ‘sparing, impressionist dashes’ of flowers (lilac, hyacinth, wisteria) intertwined with the sweet, almondy facet of heliotropine. The trail unveils an airy, powdery note, due to a pairing of musks with talcum-poweder and rice-powder accords. Perfumers: Louise Turner and Nathalie Cetto-Gracia, Givaudan. Calling to mind a chemist’s vial, the rectangular bottle with rounded edges flaunts a pinkish-brown juice. The bottle is set on a golden metal base stamped with the name of the perfume. Like an echo of Chloé’s leather goods, a delicate golden chain attaches the golden cap. The packing is sand-toned.
